Challenge
To launch the largest comprehensive campaign in university history, UW–Madison needed to energize alumni and supporters across the country while setting the tone for long-term engagement.
Solution
Over the course of a year, August Jackson partnered with the university to produce three regional events—including the “Wisconsin Ideas Tour” roadshow—culminating in the launch of the All Ways Forward campaign during Homecoming Weekend.
Highlights included:
- Reusable, interactive structures tailored to each region and its stories
- Spotlight moments for students and faculty
- Comprehensive services spanning branding, experience and set design, speechwriting and coaching, live event staging, and roadshow production
Results
- 250,000 donors engaged and inspired
- $4.2 billion raised—exceeding fundraising goal by $1 billion
